Welcoming you to Gastown’s newest creative space
Local artists invoking all your senses
For our first big night, we invited local artisans to hit up all your senses with sounds, sights, and flavours. We drank and snacked together. We felt the musical vibes up close and personal. We saw paint hit canvas and a vision materialise in front of us.
Alpha Omega - AOXLP
The unique sounds were brought to us by a new collaboration of Canadian musicians. AlphaOmega is a hip hop duo consisting of local legend Prevail and his nephew Neph. The Leisure Principle is an electro-alt-pop group with David Spidel on bass, DT on guitar, Cam Stephens on drums and Dr. Liesa Norman on flute/vocals. Together they’re AOXLP. They premiered a new track for us that night, with their first album and European tour in the works.
Arden Marrow Ross
Ross, aka @KidMarow, is a Vancouver tattoo artist and painter with a focus on black and grey realism. His canvas work includes watercolour, oil paint and aerosol. Often together for a fusion of traditional and modern techniques, darkness and vibrant colour. He created an original piece throughout the night, giving us a view into his process.
Sweetapple is an Australian export who’s become a staple in Vancouver’s bar scene. Former bar manager at Chambar and the Fairmont Pacific Rim, he currently holds it down as an Absolut brand Ambassador. He was serving up Dark & Stormy’s and other favourite cocktails to a packed crowd.
Cocktails & Canapes
C&C is a leader in Vancouver catering. They only focus on the best of the best, from internationally and locally inspired food, stylish cocktails, sound/visuals and event design. They were cruising around with a few of their signature snacks, such as pork belly sliders and orange chili chicken cones. And we can’t forget the Veuve Clicquot champagne towers they had flowing.

He’s held exclusive dinners for local companies like Hootsuite and Lululemon, as well as international names like Bono and the AIDS advocacy organisation RED.
On June 23 and 24, he’ll be your personal guide to one of the hottest food trends in Vancouver: Ramen. Taking you through its history, technique and regional varieties, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for your next bowl.
